HAHAHA! [chortle, snort, guffaw]

Such a husband may find himself living with his wife as "brother and sister" sooner and more regularly than he ever expected.

Oh, dear.

What is it about Prot converts to Orthodoxy that these, ah, humorous orthographies are, um, too close to home?

Funny, stuff, tho' guy. I really like your orthographs.

Deb, Yup. Actually he probably already is, and is trying to make it out to be a spiritual virtue rather than a consequence. Don't ask how I know this stuff. :)

Abe: Awesome tree frog! What's his name?

SP: I think the answer you're looking for is: "While dressed as an ice hockey goalie in full pads and helmet. You can skip the skates, but you might need the stick."

I am so lucky to have converted from "nowhere". My baggage was a toothbrush and a change of underwear.

Anon,
Weird place to store dentures???

Steve Robinson said...

Anon, Yeah, most of us have carry on and checked baggage that we pick up and start unloading after we've arrived. :)

Well, as a godless heathen, I didn't need to unlearn the cross direction, be afraid of dropping a "and the Son" in there, etc. (Somebody did that about 3 weeks ago in our parish. 15 years Orthodox and inattentiveness got her.)

But mostly it's the joy of learning this for the first time, even a few years in. American Orthodoxy might be better served looking to the heathen like me than trying to filch Anglicans and Evangelistic types..
