Hats

I heard there was quite an interest in the hats worn at the Royal Wedding last month and specifically Princess Beatrice's.

Personally, I don't think it holds a candle to Patriarch Bartholomew's Paschal hat.

Ain't nobody goin' to out hat or out hair the Orthodox. When you think about how many priests or bishops that would have fit in perfectly at Woodstock it's compelling.

It's a good thing it's Sunday morning and I'm fasting for communion because I would have spit out my coffee all over the screen!

I like hats. I wear hats, but it seems often to be an inconvenient anachronism these days. I've actually had a few people make quite harsh statements about my hats (ranging from dismissal to disapproval). What is the deal with hats?

Only in Britain can you see women wearing canoes and kudu horns on their heads, calling them hats... :-D

You must have missed Michelle Obama and The Unfortunately Placed Plant (as it was dubbed. Sounds like a children's book.)
